About Me

Hello reader!

Thank you for stopping by,

This blog is made for the purpose of advocating for Out-of-School Children and young women in the rural area of Northern Nigeria. At “Hasken Arewa Foundation”  we educate by giving scholarships to kids and skill acquisition scholarship for women in northern Nigeria of different religious background.

We also have entrepreneurial transactions; book sales, adverts, editorial services and other essentials.

Educational contents for academics. Spiritual write-ups that is aimed at proclaiming the Good News and Mental Health awareness.

My name is Gotname Bitrus-Ibrahim. A graced Mother. I am Spirit filled. I am a Nigerian, Klela by tribe, Kebbi State. Director at Hasken Arewa Foundation and poet.

I apply the art of writing to advocate, and publish problem-solving content, soul-lifting, and inspiring books. I have published three books, such as “Angel, if Mine”, which is an anthology of poems, using diverse figures of speech, to address complicated issues of life that encompass love, violence, politics, and trauma.

My second book is the novel “The Victor a Victim”. I use intriguing characters to buttress themes such as the patriarch tradition of Northern Nigeria, terrorism, corruption, extremist religion, sexually based violence against women, and poverty. These characters though victims prove against all odds that victims have the capacity of becoming victorious!

“I Dare to Dream, the African Dream” This is my third book, a poem book that focuses is Africa and Nigeria. About dreaming in Africa and overcoming. With poems with themes such as; dream, tenacity, hope, victory, pain, and love for Africa. I use different types of poems with literary devices to expose the possibility of the African child becoming the positive change in a striving world.

I was so blessed recently to publish my first academic publication on the topic: EXPLORING THE TRAUMA OF SOCIAL CRISES IN ADAMU KYUKA USMAN’S “THE DEATH OF ETERNITY”, which was published with other great authors titled; Tradition, and Society: A Festschrift on Kyuka Lilymjok.

I love music, having intelligent conversation with strangers, reading, traveling and writing with you at heart. Be refreshed and changed through my love inspired Pen!
