Love: My name is Love Tom-Inyang. I hail from Akwa Ibom state. I love the Lord, I am strong and a hard-working lady.
Gotname: Why the work you do, would you say you are living your purpose?
Love: I am passionate about the work I do, hence I can confidently say am living my purpose.
Gotname: One tip on how to stay a happy girl?
Love: Just love yourself and keep out negative vibes.

Love: I do have a thing for establishing a business, for which I do small ventures. I also love being in the kitchen.
Gotname: Who is your Major influencer?
Love: My late Dad, Pst. U T Inyang.
Gotname: Where is your safe place?
Love: My safest place is in the Lord God Almighty.
Gotname: How do you balance being a Principle and a parent to your siblings?
Love: I draw strength from God and go through each day at a time. For my siblings, we encourage each other and always walk together as one.
Gotname: Would you want to share an experience with trauma or violence and how you dealt with it?
Love: Yes, on different occasions I lost my parents. It was a very painful experience especially that of my Dad but I was able to deal with it by trusting the Lord God Almighty.
Gotname: What advice will you give out there to women and men going through abuse?
Love: Love yourself, keep your head high and be courageous to seek for help and/or work away from anything or anyone that is abusive.
Gotname: How can we improve our educational sector or what are you implementing in your school that is specific and intentional to improve education in northern Nigeria?
Love: The king International School was founded in 2003 by my Late Father Pastor U T Inyang. It had a small beginning but it has developed to be among the best school in Kebbi state. We are glad to say that the School has a conducive learning environment, laboratories, and qualified teachers. We are proud to have our students become professionals in Medicine, Engineering, and Social Sciences among others. We are committed in educating our pupils/students both in learning and morals. We are continually improving the School for the better in learning and infrastructure.
The educational sector can be improved by the government paying more attention to the sector. The training and in-service training of teachers is paramount to the improvement of the educational sector. Also, the welfare and well-being of the teachers should not be neglected.
In the King International School, we ensure we have qualified teachers and adhere to the curriculum that works best for training the pupils/students in learning and morals. We also motivate our Pupils/Students by rewarding outstanding performances at all levels on Speech and Prize giving day, providing scholarships.
Gotname: As a director of an educational institution, where do you see the education of northern girls in Nigeria?
There have been a lot of campaigns for girl child education for which parents and society are gradually embracing girl child education. The north has its uniqueness which is embedded in the culture of the people. Society and parents have to recognize the place of the girl child in the community not as inferior to the male child. We have not arrived yet on the girl child education but we are taking steps in the right direction. So, I will call for the campaigns be on and for parents to continually get enlightened on the privileges of the girl child education. Persistence and consistency will help us accomplish our vision for the girl child education.
Currently, at THE KINGS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, 70% of our population comprises of the girl child and we are proud to be one of the drivers of change as it relates to girl child education in the north. Although, we are not where we want to be as regards the girl education in northern Nigeria we are not where we use to be either. We offer scholarships for the girl child at The King International School.
Biography
My name is Love UT Inyang, the first child of Late Mr. and Mrs. UT Inyang, born on 06 March. In Gusua town. I am Single and waiting for Gods right for me. I attended Andi Gomo model primary school, federal government college Birnin Yauri and ended my secondary school education at Federal Science and technical college Zuru. Afterwards attended Federal College of Education Kontagora where I studied Home Economic, further went for my First Degree at Ahmadu Bello University Zaria where I also studied Home Economics. I am currently the Director of the King International School, Zuru Kebbi State.
