The process of crafting the delightful narrative titled “Emakame and Ikasi’s Adventure: Fun with the Friendly Crocodiles,” a captivating book designed specifically for our young readers, was not something that unfolded overnight or even within a few short months. In fact, it was a journey that required considerable dedication and perseverance over an extended period of time. As the sole author embarking on this creative endeavor, I found myself learning invaluable lessons along the way, continuously growing both as a writer and as a storyteller.

‎Fortunately, I was surrounded by an incredible support system that played a vital role in this undertaking, showering me with love, heartfelt prayers, financial assistance, and unwavering encouragement. I wish to express my deepest gratitude to those remarkable individuals who refused to allow me to abandon my dreams; they significantly contributed to the realization of my very first series aimed at children. It is because of their immense support that I am now thrilled to announce that I have already begun the process of developing the second adventure featuring our beloved characters, Emakame and Ikasi, as they embark on yet another exciting journey filled with fun and friendship.. .

‎My beloved husband, Ibrahim Nathaniel, stands by me as a pillar of support and love. Then there’s Mama Nene Lawani, my cherished mentor, whose wisdom and guidance have been instrumental in shaping my journey and aspirations. I also think of Dr. Haruna Penni, a total professional, who holds the esteemed titles of Fellow of the Association of Nigeria Architects (fANA), Fellow of the Institute of Public Administration (FIPA), and Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants (FIMC), whose expertise and insight are invaluable. I cannot forget the influence of Reverend Tina Suwa, whose spiritual leadership has greatly enriched my life, alongside the unwavering encouragement from Pastor Chris Ann Mcquay, whose words inspire strength and resilience. Pastor Funke Jinigba, your compassion, counsel and prayers inspires me to be more like Him.

‎Mr. Ishaya Ganya and Mr. Faruq Yahaya, both remarkable individuals with generous hearts, have offered their support in countless ways. Additionally, Mrs. Lilian C. Ogbonna has always been there, her kindness radiating warmth in every interaction. There’s also Fumilayo Viable Ajayi, whose vibrant spirit brings joy to our circle. My thoughts extend to Zion Danladi, a truly wonderful friend, as well as my daughter, Charisa, who fills my life with happiness and pride. Not to overlook Ma, Andrea, and her children in the United States, whose love transcends distance.

‎Oh dear Lord, the list goes on and on, filled with the names of my beloved people who continually enrich my life by sharing their thoughts, commenting on my endeavors, purchasing items for themselves or as thoughtful gifts for others. This overwhelming sense of connection and support assures me that I am indeed surrounded by love and appreciated in more ways than I can count.
