The anthology presents Gotname’s vision for the desirable Africa. Through well crafted poesy, the poetess envisions a progressive Africa emerging out of enduring love, perseverance and communalism. The thrust of the collection is to poetize the possibility of Africa and Nigeria becoming great through hard work, sincerity, gallantry, loyalty and genuine faith capable of enabling gender equality, creed reverence, sane politics and above all, peaceful coexistence.
Gotename’s collection challenges the African youths to rededicate themselves to the unavoidable task of personal and national development, the only cure for the persistent ogre of poverty and lack crippling the land. No doubt, this work is masterly and quite commendable.
