Meet Bilkisu Ibrahim: A hasken Arewa Foundation Initiative
Kind-hearted Bilkisu is 12 years of age, and looking forward to starting her Nursery school. She lost her Dad and brother in a flood recently, who were the breadwinners, they also lost their properties in the flood, which resulted in dropping out of school. Her mother like so many uneducated mothers is left to take care of her and her remaining siblings with no means of livelihood.
For Bilkisu, knowing that she will be able to return to school is such a thrill and a surge of hope for her entire family. Do you still wonder how you can bring change to a community and change individual lives? Well, this is an opportunity to be part of Bilkisu’s story by giving towards her primary education. We do not doubt that God will properly help her assimilate all she is taught even after starting school at 12.
