Seek His Face Continually

Seek His Face Continually

“Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually.
Remember all the wonders he performed, the miracles and judgments that came out of his mouth.”
1 Chronicle 16: 11-12

Have you been in a situation where you scroll down your call log, from A to Z and are unable to call anyone? Hoping to have to talk to someone, if only you have someone whom you will speak openly with, who will not make me a topic of discussion. One who will not judge me but will tell me the truth and will help me solve my problem?

The thing is, as humans we are even suspicious of God’s love and we wonder if we could trust Him with what; maybe when I have a headache but not HIV, or maybe He can handle my sleeping problem but not my broken heart. The truth is that we are often the unfaithful ones, not God. His love is as consistent as His word.

The opening scripture forms part of the song David sang to the Lord. David had realized the importance of seeking the Lord for His strength; in fact, he had realized the benefits of the continual face seeking of the Lord.

God is ever ready to host His children who call on Him; He is never weary or bored by His children. God is very hospitable and receives everyone with open arms. He is never out of solutions or unable to love or forgive.

There is nothing too little to speak to Him about; He is always ready to listen to us. Dear reader, be encouraged to discuss everything on your mind with the Lord.

What are you waiting for then, begin to tell Him everything and wait quietly for a direction to take? His words heal, read it. With thanksgiving, you will overcome. Don’t give up! Wait and pray a little while longer.
