Twenty-First December; A Lamentation on Banditry

Twenty-First December

A Lamentation on Banditry

I hope you can see, if you cannot I hope you can hear?
The escalating insecurity in the Northwest states of Nigeria, and the country as a whole are alarmingly boldly staring at us in the face, although it seems the system is blind. The aftermath screams but no one who matters seem to hear.

Banditry is not freedom fighting or militancy. It is intellectual dishonesty to think it is. As Solomon said in Proverbs 30: 21-23 ‘Three things are too much for even the earth to bear, yes, four things shake its foundations – when the janitor becomes the boss when a fool gets rich when a whore is voted “woman of the year,” when a girlfriend replaces a faithful wife”. I am indeed amazed by the ability of our leaders to make such dishonest comparisons when it comes to terrorism in Nigeria.

Evil should be detested and hated. Not tolerated and discussed. The Killings of innocent lives should be condemned verbally and more with effective action.

My heart aches because of the Cry and endless agony from the north and all over Nigeria! Sadness hovering like a vulture waiting for a kill. Our leaders are too drunk to see and to stomach filled to hear. They stagger endlessly when it comes to applying the truth and allowing the truth, to set free. I think they are ready to be wrapped with a stone and taken to the ocean. They have failed oh Lord, we can not do it too but you can bring an end to this sufferings.

Hear the wailing of the victims of banditry oh Lord. Halt the eager feet of terrorists, let their intentions resolve into confusion at their camps, may they seek to remember their way back to mischief but remain lost. Bring succor oh! Lord, your purpose must be done. These vagabonds Rob, murder, rape, destroy food and every beautiful thing you have laid up for your Nigeria. Look and don’t look away let your mercy speed up the healing in Nigeria now! Let’s your goodness bring peace and order!

The nation’s watching but what can they do? when a people fight against their selves. Self-destroying every beauty and humanity. Poverty is not to blame, riches is not to blame but power, greed, and the delusional delight derived by vicious children of the devil. Indeed they have no God Almighty, they bow to their lust and worship their intend. This is not your will, let it not be done. This is not your purpose let it not be done. Your kingdom comes oh Lord You’re will be done.

A lamentation on banditry may this vision of treasury fail with an immediate consequence but may your will be done! Nigeria though in turmoil but the favor of God is still on all of us and you…….

I believe in you, you are loved and cherished. God always has your back. Keep praying for Nigeria 🇳🇬

A wonderful and prosperous Christmas and New Year to you from all of us @ gotnamewrites.org Please don’t forget to subscribe and like our blog.

    Awake oh my Nigeria?
Awake oh my North, save the blood of your sons and daughters
Feed the hungry and comfort the homeless
This is pure and true religion.
    So sad.
