WINDS FOR OUR FLIGHT

No more place for sadness,
Nor the weariness of lack,
No home for laziness,
Or the cold war attack,
Find me in the winds that blow,
Search me beneath the hazy lips of Sahara.

I am the Sway of delight,
The drum that beats the joy,
Hear the poetry of breath insight,
Embrace the ecstasy that sings joy,
See pleasure unexplained in the dry farmland,
Touch me as the coarse earth stroke.

No rains or any distractions to stall,
Only the winds for our flight.
