‎ Give the Child Truth

‎It is hard not to think about the nation without having the youths at heart. Whoever thought parents would have to warn their children about teenage boys who might date them just to use them for money rituals? The decadence keeps evolving. Are we to blame poverty, terrorism, or greed? Unfortunately, the situation has come to this. One can hardly scroll through social media without encountering gruesome crimes committed predominantly by the youth.

‎Recent issues in Nigeria, such as the rise of internet fraud, youth unemployment, and political instability, exacerbate the situation. The ongoing fuel subsidy removal and its economic ramifications have led to increased hardship, prompting some youths to resort to crime as a means of survival.

‎Dear young one, crime can’t be the only way out, no! There is no path there, and nothing ends well for those who indulge in cultism, terrorism, or covetousness. Reflect on history figures like Hitler, Idi Amin, or Shekau demonstrate the dire consequences of choosing the wrong path. The allure of quick wealth through yahoo scams may seem tempting, but many lives have been ruined in the process.

‎Parents, it doesn’t get easier; these are not times for cover-ups. Call a spade a spade and let the truth set the child free. The violation of fundamental human rights by bandits highlights the state of the human heart and the neglect of peace and security by Nigerian leaders. We must show the child who has their back when all has failed, guiding them toward a path of life that brings light and hope to a seemingly meaningless world.

‎Let us dedicate ourselves to offering them the profound love and guidance of God and in addition that they accept God to walk with Christ, a force that possesses the incredible ability to protect them in all aspects of their lives physically, where they can find safety and health; mentally, providing clarity and strength to face daily challenges; psychologically, fostering resilience and emotional stability; spiritually, nurturing their souls and guiding them towards enlightenment; and financially, helping to provide the necessary resources for their well-being. While seeking divine assistance is of the utmost importance in times of need, it is essential that our prayers are not only sincere but also filled with intention and purpose, reflecting our genuine desire for their welfare and confidence in the transformative power of faith.

Don’t forget you are loved dear parents and well-done.
