I will yet Praise You

I will yet praise you

I will yet choose to praise you,

In the midst of joy or despair,

For you are steadfast and true,

My burdens, on you, I lay and share.

Though trials and tribulations surround,

And the world may seem dark and bleak,

I will lift my voice and let it resound,

With thanksgiving, my soul will speak.

For in you, O Lord, I find my strength,

My refuge in times of trouble and fear,

You are my hope, my joy at arm’s length,

In your presence, I have nothing to fear.

I will yet choose to praise you,

For your mercies are new every day,

In your love, I find all that’s true,

You guide me along the righteous way.

Even in the valley of the shadow of death,

Your light shines bright and true,

You have never forsaken me, taken a breath,

Your promises, Lord, forever hold true.

So with a grateful heart, I’ll sing,

Songs of praise and adoration,

For through every joy and suffering,

You, O Lord, remain my foundation.

In all things, I will give thanks to you,

And remember your goodness and grace,

For in every trial, you have seen me through,

My soul will forever seek your face.

I will yet choose to praise you,

Amidst the storms and the trials I face,

For you are faithful and your word is true,

In your love and mercy, I find my place.

So with thanksgiving in my heart,

I’ll lift my voice and sing your praise,

For from you, O Lord, I’ll never depart,

And in your presence, my soul will raise.
