How would you, in your own opinion classify our Nation as a society?
Attahiru: a monetized crumbling Society. The society has been monetized by all and particularly the government elected officials who use monetary attachment to deceive and woo the poor and vulnerable people in gaining access to political offices where in turn, they see it as a business room to embezzling the funds made available for the progress of a nation.
As a result, the need for a developmental society died down hence, we find ourselves where we are today devoid of personal progress, societal development, political prosperity; moral rectitudeness and by opposite, we are being robbed of morality, our fine-culture, piousness, religious uprightness and many more vice versa.
And because it has become a norm, everybody’s basic desire now is nothing other than money even when it shouldn’t be the primary goal for human survival and development. Things that moral uprightness encompasses has been demoralised by the same ‘money sense’ that has engulfed the reasoning of humanity in the 21st century. Nobody now cares about whether or not society develops, prosper or to make it conducive for the upcoming generations. Simply, we are all insensibly money driven and blinded towards seeing the fine potential to nation and human development.
Today, you see a youth who’s able, and is supposed to channel his youthful glow and power in building humanity, becomes insanely desirable of dreaming selfishly on how to gather a lot of wealth more than he can control. Devoid of positive thinking about what good cause to use the wealth for, as his humanitarian quarterly contributions to the society. All he thinks of, is, to buy flashy and reigning cars, houses, also women for his selfish sexual urge; throwing parties, becoming celebrity in the society and thinking of all sort of non-positive things he can do for himself and not the society.
It’s the same reason and motives behind a typical political aspirants. All they want is money, to enrich themselves caring less about the same society that bred them gently and fine. The same politicians set up the pace for their political mentees by screwing them and their ideologies in thinking about money first. They orient people that money is the gateway to everything and everywhere on earth. This is the generalise belief of all, that, money is the most important thing of all what the human being needs.
As a result, the society crumbles, suffers deficiencies, stagnating; sick, crashing down and is littered with insane inhabitants who have betrayed it’s gentle generosity, mild gesture and kind hospitality and it’s now making us pay for the crap we buy by rendering us helpless in finding solutions to the catastrophic problems hitting us to the wall.
But Sadly, we all seem to be victims; affected and not left out by the ‘monetary pandemic.’
What gives birth to success?
Attahiru: Only impression gives birth to success; you see the world itself is structured with different species. These species all interact and shape the development of one another which is to be relatively referred to as “social interaction”. Social interaction among human specie does nothing but to bring about the coordination, developmental networking, human growth, and common understanding of core values of standard of life and living in a heterogeneous society.
It’s indisputable fact that impression of all sort give birth to success of many if not all. Impression on some certain activities of human being tend to pave way for human success in all dimension.
Impression could be in many forms; it could be negative or positive: it might be words of encouragement, kindness, good manners, obedience, know-how, intellect, influence, moral rectitudeness etcetera; supports of all sort: financially, advise, network, connection partnership, influence, to mention but few.
No man excels and reach the pinnacle of success without having impressed or and impression from his family and friends, immediate community and society at large. Even if man’s activities are bad and he excels at it, it’s still as a result of impression he might have received from either his family and friends, immediate community or/and society at large. Good things vice versa. Simply, you do good and excel, it’s an impression that motivates it and so also you do bad and succeed, it’s still the same impression that motivates it.
What’s impression? It’s simply a motivation to be ceaseless and subsistent in for instance one’s occupation or both formal and informal engagement. The acceptance and a nod for agreement from others on a particular thing one does.
So, we’re all cause to exist in a global society even tho it’s heterogeneous in nature. But the rationale behind the world’s connectivity is to shape human development that will give birth to a successive generations and in turn keep the world going and moving on. No individual, group of people, civil society, government, country and even entirely human race survive, succeed and excel without impressive tendencies.
Like you know, it’s only human beings who give value to everything such as: ideas, innovation, inventions, intellect, technological know-how, creativity, ‘crimes’ and product of brain from the other people. Our acceptance, agreement and alignment to all of those above imply and signals our impression on them. If they weren’t accepted, there wouldn’t be a space for them to grow, progress and prosper and attain success.
In essence, the growth, progress and prosperity of human which eventually give birth to his success depend largely on the commendation, applause and criticism even, (all as Impression) he receives as feedbacks and assessments from the society and which will now set a benchmark through which to know whether or not the line he tours on is good or bad.
Biography
I’m by name Attahiru Fadlu-rahman Manga an indigent of Niger State, Bida Local Government to be precise. I was born in sokoto state on 1st of January 1995. My father is a retired civil servant with Niger State government. Before his retirement, he rose to the position of Director of Zonal Directorate Education under the Niger State ministry of Education. My mother is domestic Islamic instructor and teacher at home. I’m the first child in my mother’s room and 11th from my father. I was born into an extended family.
I started my elementary school in 2000. I attended Martaba international Nursery and Primary school badeggi from 2000 to 2003. But Because of change of residence, I couldn’t complete basic classes in the school so I was transfered to Jamaatu Nasril Islam in Bida Local Government where I completed my primary school in 2008. From there I proceeded to Umaru Sanda Junior Secondary School where I did my junior classes and completed in 2011. I was enrolled in Government Technical College Bida between 2011 to 2014. And I’m currently a student of Federal University Birnin Kebbi studying political science, currently in 300 level.
I’ve held many leadership position in different organizations. As at now, I’m the current Public Relation Officer for Muslim Students Society of Nigeria Federal University Birnin Kebbi chapter, Secretary General National Association of Nupe Students Federal University Birnin Kebbi chapter, Special adviser on media relation to President of National Association of Niger State Students in the same university.
I’m a voracious reader with vest interest in writing. I’ve written several articles bordering on politics, literature and religion. I’ve attended many creative writing seminars and workshops.
