How does your call play at your job?
My job has to do with meeting people’s needs and dispensing justice. During the course of my work, I give hope to people who feel hopeless, many come to the office demoralized and discouraged due to fear, I always see it as an opportunity to share the word of God with them, using the case of people like Joseph in the Bible who was being imprisoned for years but at the appointed time, God removed him and made him a prime minister.
For those who are guilty, I make them understand that it is not the end of the world. It is better to be convicted by men than to be convicted by God.
When you are convicted by man it is temporarily but when God convicts and sentence you, your end has come. Seeking the mercies of God no matter what will happen to you is much better.
What are you doing right now to influence a positive change in Nigeria?
What I am doing at the moment to influence change is living by what I preach.
I establish cordial relationship with people to enable them and inspire change. We need to change our mentality, especially about solving different societal injustice with hostility and violence, no, violence is never the answer. Love does so much more, than any kind of emmosion. I stand for peace and so encourage it.
I equally set high ethical standards, I don’t say ‘yes’ in the place of ‘no’ and I don’t say no in the place of yes.
