THE DAY I ALMOST DIED

THE DAY I ALMOST DIED

I woke up to a sting in my stomach,

So painful i felt as thou dead afloat,

Like a drowning stone,

I saw a flash back of unfulfilled dreams,

Disappointed amazed and puzzled,

My dreams looked at me, and I them,

But if it were not for courage,

I would have given up to the night.

Life can be so unfair to the kind,

It twists your wrist and twists your mind to delirium,

Breaking to pieces all love in your heart,

Taking all the blood and tarnishing all hope,

As bold as bad circumstances,

Be, more bold,

To face the cross,

To cry the bloody tears,

And not quit if you should,

Get nailed, there lives a bigger plan!

A plan no devil knows,

A picture no mind has pictured,

An emotion yet unfelt,

A dream dreamt by your creator,

A purpose designated to prosper you,

A tear of joy,

Is just a breath away?

Breath, be alive,

Be resurrected in Him.

I woke up again in this heart,

And I knew, I just know,

I am made for greatness,

And nothing will hinder me,

I am resurrected in Him.
