Don’t Forget, the Suffering

As a child I was bullied a lot, about how I looked, about being poor, about the church I attended and the environment I was raised in. I grew aware of all this seemingly flaws and limitation. The cruel nature of a human mind and heart towards children, is indeed unfortunate. For some of us, it was not an easy road to see the good in people or the good they could be.

Lack was not so strange, neither was disappointment. In the midst of this, once upon a time, was a thriving love story between mother and father, and the affectionate love they showed towards us sacrificially. It was so refreshing to come back to that one room and dream again. When we lay on Mum and Dad’s bed, we felt safe again. There was some thing soothing and loving about that old bed. No matter how afraid, frustrated or depressed I was, I knew I could count on my parents love. Having Spirit filled parents, is one of my many blessings, but I feel more blessed knowing God and, His salvation at their feet.

This story is not about failure or pain. It is about tenacity amidst excruciating emotions such as shame and limitation. It is about not forgetting the suffering, but having the audacity to love, dream, serve God, live right and must importantly seeing to God’s perfect agenda about Human salvation. Also about seeing people through the eyes of God. Allowing Him love through your heart, touch with your hand, work with your feet and inspire change using your brokenness.

Are you bullied today, persecuted or violated? realease your fears in His presence, do not fear no more, be hopeful in His reaching peace. There is comfort in the arms of the Father, you can trust His promises and words. His love for us cannot be measured, it is deep and true and nothing can end His love for us. His is a enough purpose to live, a reason to thrive. People can only be humans but don’t let them frustrate you.’ 2 Corinthians 1:3
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of sympathy (pity and mercy) and the God [Who is the Source] of every comfort (consolation and encouragement),
4. Who comforts (consoles and encourages) us in every trouble (calamity and affliction), so that we may also be able to comfort (console and encourage) those who are in any kind of trouble or distress, with the comfort (consolation and encouragement) with which we ourselves are comforted (consoled and encouraged) by God’. You can trust God.

Remember you the apple of His eyes. He loved you even before you needed love. He created you for a purpose. Smile because you are fully loved and adored. Remain in His grace shine and shine like the light you are. Make all unsavory ordeals savoury with you saltnessness. You are incredibly beautiful. and I love you, don’t forget that you are not too young or old to dream, and I know you will make it. Don’t loss faith, God has not given up on you yet.
